Located outside of New Orleans, the city of Harahan, Louisiana is seeking a sister city partnership to develop relationships that will benefit the city as it continues to grow. With a population size of over 9,200 people, Harahan has so much to offer from a growing Maritime Transportation Research Center that works in conjunction with several world-recognized institutions of higher learning, the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and location next to some of the major rivers in the United States. The city of Harahan wants to create a city partnership to support developing communities, humanitarian projects, economic partnerships, business development and trade delegations.
